  • Artnsaw Chainsaw Carving of Felton, an 11-year-old business led by Josh Miller, won the third annual Coolest Thing Made in Delaware competition on Thursday, Mar. 26 at the Spring Manufacturing and Policy Conference in Dover. The contest saw 42 entries (from 37 companies and over 10,000 votes cast).  WDEL

  • Delmarva Power customers facing rising bills can still get help with the Customer Relief Fund holding over $2.5 million and extra grants through Li-Heap (tools like the Assistance Finder and energy alerts help check eligibility).  WDEL

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Former Delaware State Senator Nancy Wilson Cook died on Monday, March 23, 2026 in Dover, leaving a 36-year legacy in government and state finance. Visitations will be held at Torbert Funeral Chapel on March 30 (5:00 to 8:00 p.m.) and March 31 (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).  Bay to Bay News
  • A panel of appointed state officials upholds a decision to block Project Washington, a proposed data center near Delaware City, for its heavy industrial backup power requirements under Delaware’s Coastal Zone Act. Developers say they will work with regulators to adjust plans and deliver jobs if changes meet environmental standards.  Delaware LIVE
  • A Delaware court ruled that construction can proceed for a substation near the Indian River Power Plant to serve a planned offshore wind project despite objections from Sussex County Council & Fenwick Island.   • Delaware’s Senate passed a bill to create a licensing path for master’s-level psychology clinicians to boost mental health care. The legislation now heads to the House for further review.  Coast TV
