- ➤ On Saturday, April 12th just after 2:00 p.m., Delaware State Police responded to Smoke Beast (220 Gateway South Boulevard) after a masked (gloved) male suspect pointed a handgun at an employee and fled on foot without taking any merchandise while the investigation continued. WBOC
- ➤ Delaware State Police responded to an attempted robbery at Smoke Beast (220 Gateway South Boulevard) on April 12 at (2:06 p.m.) after a man entered the store earlier and returned with a handgun to demand merchandise, fleeing when the employee did not comply. Coast TV

- ➤ Delaware State University President Tony Allen joined an amicus brief filed in US District Court—opposing policies that target non-citizen students and teachers at colleges and universities. The brief, signed by 86 schools, challenges visa revocations and detentions that harm international learning and research. WGMD

- ➤ Ranjeet Singh finished his challenge of running marathons in all 50 states when he crossed the finish line at the Coastal Delaware Running Festival in Rehoboth Beach on Sunday—an achievement he reached over nearly 20 months of running every two weeks.
