GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The TSA will enforce the Real ID program beginning May 7 so new driver's licenses will feature a star on the upper right corner. HEALTH NEWS

  • State agencies including the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, DHSS, DSHS, and DOJ announced that drug overdose deaths dropped nearly 36% in 2024, with 338 fatalities compared to 527 in 2023. Officials credit targeted naloxone distribution, expanded addiction treatment, and public health campaigns to this progress—while planning to award $13 million in grants in June to further support addiction response efforts.  Delaware LIVE
  • Kim Robbins, head of the Delaware Pharmacists Society, said that a new board to set drug price limits may hurt research and delay access to lifesaving medicine for patients—especially those with rare diseases.
