CRIME NEWS

  • Delaware State Police arrested 30-year-old Raheim Clifton for felony theft when he allegedly charged $3,600 to a company credit card at Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company in Leipsec on April 19—he turned himself in on April 27 and was arraigned and released on charges.  WBOC
  • Monday afternoon, Dover Police arrested 21-year-old Felton man William Friends and a 17-year-old Dover male near Barrister Place during a firearm investigation—Friends was found with a backpack holding three 9mm handguns, including one reported stolen, while the teen dropped his concealed 9mm SCCY handgun—both face charges for Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Illegal Gang Participation, and Resisting Arrest with Friends also charged for Receiving Stolen Property, and their bails were set at $8,200 and $50,000 respectively.  WGMD
  • Dover officials reported that Dover Police arrested Isaiah Worthy on April 13 for allegedly writing hateful graffiti including 'KKK' on six areas such as a church sign, and he turned himself in on April 25 while the investigation continues to determine if the acts qualify as a hate crime.  WBOC
