- ➤ A 58-year-old Dover man died early Sunday when his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a ditch near White Oak Road, with police unable to determine if alcohol or drug use caused the crash. WGMD

- ➤ State Police said a trooper is on administrative leave after he shot and critically injured an armed suspect during a car theft investigation after the suspect fled in a stolen SUV from Camden through Dover — the pursuit ended near Fieldsboro Road when the suspect crashed and police caught other individuals nearby.
