State unemployment increased from 3.7% in March to 3.9% in April while Sussex County dropped from 4.1% to 3.9%.

The Delaware Department of Labor said job growth in education and health services added 3300 positions year-over-year — driving most of the overall change and boosting jobs in wholesale and retail trade.
