- ➤ DNREC has set up two fenced nesting enclosures (covering 2.65 acres) at Cape Henlopen State Park to protect endangered least terns from predators and harsh weather. Officials say if one chick reaches flight by late June or early July, the project will mark a major win. Coast TV
- ➤ DNREC claimed that recent storms illustrate climate change in Delaware, but state data reviewed by retired climatologist Dr. Legates shows no clear long-term increase in tornadoes, severe weather, or drought. - ➤ Twenty-eight organizations, farmers and grocery retailers have received over $700,000 in grants from the Delaware Grocery Initiative to boost healthy food access and improve refrigeration systems and home delivery programs in all three counties. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Matt Meyer’s office said Delaware delayed its decision on choosing a partner for its first four-year medical school until early next week (the four proposals include Thomas Jefferson University and Tiber Health). The effort is part of the state’s broader health care strategy. WDEL

- ➤ Dover’s old post office at 55 Loockerman Street is now The Old Post, a mixed-use building with 42 apartments — nearly 4,500 sqft of commercial space — that opened after a May 28 ribbon cutting ceremony.
