- ➤ The Kent County Levy Court plus local leaders backed the creation of the Greater Dover Museum in Resolution No. 4171 to boost downtown revitalization. The new museum will preserve local history and support tourism. WGMD
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Fifteen DSU students traveled to Costa Rica for a Spanish immersion trip at the Intercultural Language School in Heredia from May 9 to May 18. They lived with local families, took 20 hours of classes + joined cultural activities and excursions led by DSU staff to boost language skills and cultural insight. Delaware State University

- ➤ A local fishing report noted that small craft advisories were in effect Saturday as anglers reported blues on cut mullet from the Broadkill River on Friday and skates and horseshoe crabs at Cape Henlopen, plus a 5.15-lb largemouth bass caught from Millsboro Pond. WGMD
