The Elks National Foundation has launched the 2025-26 Elks Most Valuable Student scholarship contest that awards students based on academics — leadership, service, and financial need.

Students in Dover who meet the criteria can apply for scholarship funding.

The Delaware Office of Highway Safety and local police have launched the annual 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign, which runs through September 5th to improve safety for Labor Day weekend—when impaired driving is most dangerous.

Gov. Matt Meyer signed Senate Bill 52 to update pension rules and ease staffing shortages in schools and state agencies.
