- ➤ Delaware State Police said 19-year-old Brandon Carter—already held at Sussex Correctional Institution on unrelated charges—was charged with firing multiple rounds into an occupied residence on Washington Place on July 11, where eight people including three children were inside but were not hit and he now faces eight counts of reckless endangering with bail set at $48,050. - ➤ 54-year-old Dwayne Fountain from Middletown, convicted in March for leading a drug trafficking ring, received a 25-year federal prison sentence after authorities seized 16 kilograms of fentanyl plus evidence showed he stored drugs in an apartment in Bear where his teenage son lived. WDEL
