EDUCATION NEWS

  • Bayhealth announced it will partner with local agencies to offer the Early Fall 2025 Delaware Mini-Medical School Series starting Sept. 10 — a six-week virtual program for middle, high school and college students interested in healthcare careers. Sessions will run on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m — and students who complete all sessions may join the Delaware Youth Medical Academy for additional opportunities.  Coast TV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Delaware Attorney General’s office explained changes in how FOIA decision dates appear on its website after Daily State News raised concerns earlier this year—officials said the update corrects the discrepancies.  Bay to Bay News
  • Delaware’s Superior Court ruled Friday that hunters aged 18 to 21 do not need to be supervised for state hunting seasons that begin today—reversing a provision from House Bill 451 signed in 2022 by Wilmington Mayor John Carney.  WDEL
