- ➤ Gov. Matt Meyer signed Senate Bill 38 in August, allowing Delawareans to receive up to $5,000 a year for veterinary care and farrier services for retired law enforcement horses— the law becomes effective immediately and will be implemented six months later. Delaware Online
- ➤ Delaware law says tossing yard waste on a neighbor's property without permission is littering — with first offenses facing a minimum fine of $50 and up to eight hours of community service.
