Delaware Symphonic Winds is the First State’s only semi-professional wind ensemble that features band directors, freelance musicians and college music students from the region—its fall program 'Suites, Sprints & Soundscapes' will play at Dover High School on Nov.

1 at 7 p.m. and William Penn High School on Nov. 2 at 3 p.m., with the spring program 'Windswept Journeys' scheduled at Dover High School on April 18 at 7 p.m. and at Cape Henlopen High School on April 19 at 3 p.m.

Delaware beaches will host Halloween events as the Sea Witch Festival runs Oct 24—26 in Rehoboth and Dewey with costume parades, live music, and trick-or-treating, while downtown Bethany Beach holds the dog-themed Wags, Witches and Warlocks event on Oct 25 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.—all benefiting the Brandywine Valley SPCA.
