- ➤ Delaware Department of Labor’s Division of Paid Leave announced that penalties and interest will be waived on late quarterly submissions during the program’s first year to give business owners and third-party administrators time to learn the new system—late submissions after March 31 will start incurring fines. - ➤ Delaware Insurance Commissioner Trinidad Navarro announced today that workers’ compensation insurance rates will decrease for the ninth consecutive year, effective December 1, with the voluntary market dropping 11.6% and the residual market reducing by 9.08%—a move expected to benefit local businesses and encourage new company growth. - ➤ Kent County officials will display green lights on county buildings from November 4th to 11th as part of Operation Green Light — a nationwide initiative that honors veterans — to mark Veterans Day.
