EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Delaware School Choice Enrollment for the 2026/2027 school year is open, accepting applications from November 3rd until January 14th. Families will be notified by February 27th and must choose one school if multiple acceptances are received by March 20th. WBOC

- ➤ Ann Helbe, a retired nurse and board member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware, explained that November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month when the foundation offers support and education for people with epilepsy. Casscells of the Caesar Rodney Institute said that even with the ongoing federal shutdown and debate over temporary Affordable Care Act subsidies, most Delawareans with Medicare, Medicaid, or employer insurance will not see a rise in their premiums—only a small group of ACA enrollees may face higher costs if subsidies expire.
