- ➤ AAA reported that Delaware's average gas price has risen to $3.13 with little change expected through Thanksgiving. The agency projects that about 218,000 people will travel 50 miles or more during the holiday period—defined as Tuesday before to Monday after Thanksgiving—and advises drivers to avoid heavy traffic on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons as well as later on Sunday, November 30th. - ➤ The Delaware Office of Highway Safety launched its statewide winter holiday road safety campaign on Wednesday—aiming to reduce crashes during one of the busiest travel periods. The campaign returned the Sober Rides ride-share voucher program that offers up to $20 in vouchers for rides on Thanksgiving Eve—helping drivers avoid impaired driving. Coast TV

- ➤ Blood Bank of Delmarva is urging community members to donate blood this holiday season as the local supply remains at only a four-day level, which is below the ideal seven-day target.
