- ➤ Mountaire Farms worked with hundreds of volunteers this weekend to pack over 15,000 Thanksgiving boxes on the Delmarva Peninsula. The boxes, each feeding up to four people, will supply more than 60,000 meals to local families through 200 nonprofits. Coast TV

- ➤ The Delaware Department of Labor announced that over 200 new medical providers have joined the workers’ compensation system since Senate Bill 164 was signed in June to raise reimbursement rates—improving access to care for injured workers. Coast TV
LIFESTYLE NEWS
- ➤ Fishermen fished Sunday despite rough weather—Andrew Connors cleaned a four-man limit of tog at Fenwick Shoal while he and friend Maddix Barth returned five keeper tog, and another crew on the Katydid caught an eight-man limit of sea bass plus bluefish and porgies. The report said they likely used sand fleas and green crabs as bait—suggesting they fished near the Del-Jersey-Land Reef. WGMD

- ➤ On Saturday, despite decent weather, few anglers fished and Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported several striped bass in the 20 to 24 inch range caught on swim shads at Indian River Inlet—tog were also caught from the inlet rocks. Hook 'em and Cook 'em noted only two keeper tog at Site ten while Bad Wind Charters fished on Friday, boxing 20 sea bass before moving to a flounder spot. WGMD
