- ➤ Small Business Saturday returns Nov. 29 to support Delaware's small merchants during the holiday season—founded by American Express in 2010, the event will boost local shopping and offer special promotions to residents. - ➤ A 51-year-old Dover woman working in promotions supervision claimed a $1 million Powerball prize after her quick pick ticket bought at Harrington Raceway and Casino won in the Oct. 22 drawing—she claimed her ticket at the Delaware Lottery Headquarters on Oct. 30, marking Delaware’s second $1M win since April 7. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ DelDOT announced that planned sidewalk improvements will impose daytime lane restrictions on Webbs Lane—between Alder Road and South Governors Avenue—to ease traffic in Dover. The changes will take effect soon and aim to enhance safety for pedestrians and drivers. Bay to Bay News
