GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Delaware River and Bay Authority approved a $78.6 million contract with SENESCO Marine LLC to build a diesel-hybrid ferry that will replace the over 40-year-old MV Cape Henlopen and lower emissions on the Cape May–Lewes route. Construction will start early next year and finish in summer 2029 — the project includes a $20 million U.S. DOT grant and awaits a 10-day review by state governors. Delaware LIVE
- ➤ Delaware State Parks raised fees for annual passes for 2026 for the first time in 10 years, with passes going on sale December 9 and required for entry from March 1 to Nov. 30, 2026.
