- ➤ Caring Hearts, Helping Hands must leave its longtime warehouse at Jonathan's Landing Golf Course by the end of December due to course restructuring; volunteers extended their stay until February while they pack up and plan for a new home (helping 94 families and 256 kids receive aid this Christmas program). - ➤ A patriotic caravan for Wreaths Across America passed through Claymont on Thursday and reached Dover, carrying wreaths to honor veterans at Arlington National Ceremony and Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. WDEL
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Southern Delaware Tourism honored five standout contributors at its annual luncheon Tuesday at the Lighthouse Cove Event Center in Dewey Beach. The awards, including Best New Event and Tourism Legacy Award, recognize groups and individuals whose work boosts tourism that supports local jobs and tax savings. Coast TV

- ➤ Ken Sklenar, president/CEO of Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore, warned that federal cuts may shrink funding for services that help older adults and people with disabilities and urged Gov.
