- ➤ The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce will host a Sunset Business Mixer on July 30 at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Dover from 5-7 p.m.—members and invited guests will network, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and have a chance to win prizes. - ➤ At Dover City Hall on Monday night, neighbors demanded action against gun violence after shootings on Barrister Place and outside a local pub—activists recommended more patrols, camera installation between key areas, and other safety measures as officials cited limited resources. WDEL

- ➤ The federal government imposed a 17% tariff on most fresh Mexican tomatoes Monday, and local growers hope the measure will push customers to buy produce grown near Dover.
